SubmissionsThe Panel is seeking input from the public on ways to improve the working relationship between the media and the justice system. Submissions should focus on solutions, best practices and guidelines for the future on any of the topics highlighted in the terms of reference, and could include: roles and responsibilities, access to information and privacy issues, policies and practices, working in an electronic age and special requirements of children, victims and other vulnerable individuals. The Panel invites written submissions and asks that interested parties keep these to 5 pages or less. The deadline for submissions is May 6, 2005. The Ontario Panel on Justice and the Media was established by Attorney General Michael Bryant to suggest ideas for improving understanding and interaction between the media and the justice system. The submissions, and any personal information contained in them, are necessary to the administration of this initiative. The submissions will be used by the Panel to assist in identifying ways to improve this relationship. By making a submission to the Panel, you are agreeing to its use by the Panel and the Ministry of the Attorney General for this purpose.
